My China story
In this narrative, written in the form of a diary, its author Pēteris Pildegovičs
shares with the reader the observations during his post as the first Latvian
diplomat in China, as well as the impressions gained during his work at Xinhua
News Agency, where he has been the only employee from our country to date.
The author also introduces the reader to the experience of his extensive travels
throughout China, often referring to countless conversations with the Chinese
of all generations and social backgrounds.
The book is dedicated to Galina, the beloved wife of Pēteris Pildegovičs.
