The imagery in Maria's brand-new collage draws heavily on the 1950s, an era of beautiful cars, colourful graphics and carefree driving.

Maria Rivans is a collage artist based in Brighton, UK. She curated the images in the hugely successful Extraordinary Things to Cut Out and Collage (2020); she's exhibited widely and internationally; and she's behind the distinctive visual identity of Hendricks' Gin. From her artist statement: "Known for its unique approach to collaging, Rivans’ work is in a constant dialogue with cultures of the past, reinventing narratives, while spinning bizarre and dreamlike tales."
